Help us spread the word about VERA

Ashford Borough Council has launched its very own Voluntary Emergency Response Appeal (VERA) to help the communities across the borough greatly affected by the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak.

Ashford prides itself on care in the community, and this appeal will support those who need it most during this unprecedented and continually challenging time.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have seen so many within the community come together to help those care and protect our most vulnerable residents. The compassion and selflessness shown by so many to those who need it most has been overwhelming.

This fund aims to support local people even further during this time of crisis. Perhaps you want to volunteer at the moment but are unable to leave the house due to self-isolation? Maybe you’ve received a food parcel and want to give a little back? You may have even experienced the effects of COVID-19 first-hand and want to help others through a similar situation?
