Along with all residents, SWANCC are deeply saddened to learn of a tragic death of a young person on Frog Island on Sunday morning.
Kent Police have advised the Council that “This was a person of 18 years of age.” “This is an isolated incident and there are no suspicious circumstances in this case.”
A report will be prepared for the Coroner and we await any further information.
As a Community Council, both Members and Staff, would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and all those affected by this very sad loss of life.
SWANCC would like thank the Emergency Services who responded and acted with such care and professionalism.
